Everything but You

I’m anxious about everything, everything but you

You calm my nerves more than I deserve

You help me keep my cool

Now that I am writing it out

I know it to be true

When I’m overthinking, I’m anxious about everything, everything but you

Driving, even socializing, everything causes me stress

Day to day, I wake up, and it all seems like a mess

Supposed to do this, supposed to do that

I’d rewrite all the rules

If I’m not in my head, then I’m laying in bed and I don’t want to wake up for school, but you’ll be sitting there

With your curly brown hair

It makes it so much better

These things I know are true

When I’m overthinking, I’m anxious about everything, everything but you

This is usually the part where I’m supposed to promote myself. I’m just glad this found you because I believe, for whatever reason, it was destined to. If you’d like to check out my other work, follow, comment, share, or even tip, that’s entirely up to you. I promise we can still be friends either way :) Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I hope you enjoyed my words!
